LAMBS FARM The children will enjoy a day at the farm.They will discover the different animals in the barnyard petting area, ride the carousel, play miniature golf, and take a train ride.We will take a picnic lunch and eat down by the lake.
MUNDELEIN SPRAY PARK The spray park offers interactive water features for the children to enjoy. They also have a sand area that the children can build castles, and waterways. A great way to spend a hot summer day.
KOHLS CHILDRENS MUSEUM Children will have hands on experience in the many areas the museum offers.They may learn how to run a grocery store, deliver mail, learn about aerodynamics, or how to travel in an ambulance.
INDEPENDENCE GROVE BEACH A great way to spend a warm summer day swimming at the beach, making sand castles, playing volley ball and enjoying a picnic lunch.
THOMPSON'S STRAWBERRY FARM Thompson's is a "pick your own" farm. The children are given buckets to pick and bring home strawberries. It goes without saying that you can eat as much as you want.
MORKE'S CHOCOLATES The children create different treats in chocolate and also use a variety of other ingredients. They make a pizza, chocolate coverd pretzels and ice cream cones. All their creations are sent home to share with their families.
SCIENCE TIME A former Montessori Directress will visit our school and teach the children some of the fundimentals of science. We will learn about colors, chemical reactions and spooky science.
JELLY BELLY FACTORY We will take a trip to the factory where the famous Jelly Belly jelly beans are made. We will take a Jelly Belly express ride down Candy Alley to see how all the jelly beans are made. Each child receives a complementary sample of Jelly Bellys.
MARRIOTT LINCOLNSHIRE THEATER
We will enjoy a presentation of the classic fairytale “Pinocchio.”
PICNIC IN THE PARK We will spend a full-filled morning at the park and then enjoy a picnic lunch.This will be a nice way to end our summer program.
