Our programs offer the structure and education of a Montessori classroom within the comfort and safety of my home.Class size is no more than 8 children ranging in age from 3 years to 6 years old so that each child will receive the attention and academic teaching they deserve.Full Day and Half Day programs are available.We are licensed by DCFS, certified with the American Montessori Society, and registered with the Illinois Board of Education.
Full Day
7:30am – 6:00pm
3 days, 4 days, or 5 days per week
The Full Day program begins as early as 7:30am.Children may bring their breakfast or begin working.Morning and afternoon snacks are included along with a hot lunch.All children not in kindergarten must have a rest period of at least 2 hours.All activities follow the Montessori Method.Materials are available to children throughout the day.Outside time is half hour before lunch is served.Afternoons usually consist of a special project, storytelling, finishing any Montessori projects started in the morning, and outside time.
Half-day
8:45am – 11:30am 3 days, 4 days, or 5 days per week
The Half-day program is for children 3-6years old either in preschool or kindergarten.All activities follow the Montessori Method and encourage self-discipline with focus on concentration and control.
Half-day Extended
8:45am – 12:30pm
3 days, 4 days, or 5 days per week Hot lunch included
The Half-day extended program follows the same guidelines as the half-day program with hot lunch included.
Summer Program
Full Day or Half Day programs available. 3 days, 4 days, or 5 days per week
Montessori materials as well as the awareness of the outdoors will be the focus during the summer.In-house and off-site field trips will be planned.
